EROS Technical Specification
Purpose
EROS (Executive Reversal Operating System) is a module of Project Loom that analyzes, sequences, and stress-tests the reversal or modification of executive actions.
Core Question
“If a society democratically chooses to reverse or modify an executive action, what would it actually take to implement that change responsibly, and what are the foreseeable risks?”
Status
This specification is Working. The conceptual design is established. Full technical specification to be developed during Phase 2 (Systems Development).
Workflow (Conceptual)
- Mechanism Identification — What created the policy, and through what authorities?
- Dependency Mapping — What depends on this policy? What does it depend on?
- Capacity Assessment — Can the responsible institutions execute the reversal?
- Risk Analysis — What are the transition risks, bottlenecks, and single points of failure?
- Scenario Modeling — What are the alternative pathways, and how do they compare?
- Recommendation — Sequenced implementation plan with risk mitigations.
